Reproduction of the original factory deck lid spoiler special adjusting nuts
1970 1971 Dodge Demon 340 all models
These special adjusting nuts ARE probably the most important part of installing your rear deck lid spoiler! Why you ask? These are identical to the original factory ones and they attach to the Under Deck Lid Mounting brackets and to the studs of the spoiler that go thru the deck lid. These are made(double nut) so you can adjust the pressure correctly when mounting the spoiler so when you tighten it down you DO NOT bow dent or crush you deck lid outer skin, and puts the pressure on the under deck lid mounting brackets which attach to the inner structure of the deck lid. This also prevent the spoiler from moving around, as well as downforce pressure or the wing lean backward and screwing up you paint and or the deck lid skin. We sell you the correct parts to do the job right, others just give you a bag of nuts and bolts from the hardware store and or generic pieces of metal to install your spoiler. If you spent the money for a spoiler and are putting it on your expensive restoration don't you want the right parts for the job? Hey its your deck lid! The choice is yours.
You are buying only the silver special adjusting nuts, we have a complete line of the under deck lid mounting brackets listed in our Superstore. The second picture is an shot of a correctly installed spoiler on a 70 Super Bee where you can see the brackets(car nor brackets are included) and the silver special adjusting nuts.
